Abhainn Ri Self Catering Cottages
An exclusive location with just four luxury cottages in a very unique setting on a 100 acre farm. The name Abhainn Rí given to the cottages because the Kings River originally ran through the farm until the Blessington lake was created during the late 1930’s. Along with sheep & lambs the farm has lots of native creatures such as rabbits, hares, foxes, deers and an abundance of lovely birds.
Accommodation
Very spacious three bedroom tastefully decorated cottages. Furnished and fitted to a very high standard. Each cottage sleeps six (& infant); All bedlinen and towels are included in rental.
Ground Floor:
Open plan living room / kitchen / dining area and outside picnic area (with wonderful views).
Double bedroom en-suite.
First floor:
Two spacious twin bedrooms one with en-suite bathroom and one en-suite shower.
Accommodation Details
Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen with oak farmhouse style kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, cooker, hob and microwave. Fully equipped with all utensils.
Living Area:
The living area has a TV / Video / DVD / Radio and of course a wonderful log burning stove for special autumn or winter breaks. The cottages are also heated with electric storage / panel heaters throughout.
Bedrooms:
With three bedrooms all en-suite consisting of one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. A cot and high chair can be requested if required
Ideal for couples, small groups and families.
Awarded VAS 3
One cottage has gained the very high standard of VAS 3 (Validated Accessible Scheme 3) wheelchair approval with Failte Ireland (Irish Tourist Board). This cottage is ideal for a wheelchair user or maybe someone using a walking aid. We cater for all members of your group.
