A cofortably and tastefully arranged holiday apartment of 75 sqm is waiting for you in our new holiday house in Gavalohori between Chani and Rethymon.
Spacious living room, dining room, two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower and WC.
Crib, children’s high-chair and guest bed available.
Fitted kitchen, bathroom/WC, balkony/terrace, garden and parking place.
We provide bed linen and towels.
The new kitchen is euipped with slectric stove with four elements, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and all needed dishes, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
You can use your own balcony/terrace and a place to park your car.
Toys for your children and garden furniture available.
On arrival you will get a welcome basket with fruits of the season, several beverages and genuine Cretan Raki.
Day trips to the metroploitans Chania and Rethymon, the Samaria Canyon, the palaces of Krossos, Lassithi Plateau, the clear Kournas lake or to the strong springs of Argiroupolis with its rock taverns will complete your holidays in Crete and make it unforgettable.

Description of area/town/village
|
Gavalohori is situated between Chania and Rethimno on the half way between the sea and the peaks, it is part of Vamos municipality.
Almirida, very lively in summer, is the best place for swimming in Drápanos with a 500 meters long bay and its small island of Nisos Karga. behind that you can see the southeastern corner of Akrotiris in a distance of about 6 km.
The shallow sandy beaches and coves of Almirida are well-suited for small children, they are about 3.5 km (5 minutes by car) away from Gavalohori only and provide crystal-clear water, sunbed and parasol rentals, cozy bars and comfortable taverns offering fresh seafood daily and also several supermarkets and souvenir shops.
You will find many opportunities for relaxing and recreation.
For friends of water sports there are surfboard and catamaran rentals, a windsurfing and sailing school is close by.
