Orchard View Cottage
The cottage sleeps four people in comfort in two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed whilst the second has two single bunk beds. The sofa bed in the living room provides accommodation for a fifth person or forms an alternative to the bunk beds. A port a cot and high chair are available on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, large fridge/freezer etc and in the living area there is satellite TV, telephone and CD player.
The large and sunny deck is furnished with tables, chairs and gas BBQ and from here you can listen to the plentiful native birdsong and enjoy the views. A two minute stroll will bring you to the river where brown trout can be sought.
The property is home to small farm animals, horses, dogs, ’Sox’ (the cat), llamas, free range ducks, turkeys, peacocks and chickens. Children, and adults, are welcome to help with feeding the animals.

Description of area/town/village
|
Situated at the top of the South Island, 45 minutes away from Nelson City which is renowned for its high average of sunshine hours. The cottage overlooks the kiwifruit orchard with pine forest to the rear and is set amidst 20 acres of private land and is well away from the road.
Close to all activities and amenities, just 15 minutes to the sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau and the stunning Abel Tasman National Park.
A two minute stroll will bring you to the Riwaka River and 10 minute drive to the larger Motueka River, perfect for the trout fisherman.
Motueka township is 15 minutes away and there you will find supermarkets, banks, internet cafe’s, bars and restaurants.
