La Grange Galloise

La Grange Galloise blends comfort and space with character and rustic charm to provide the perfect setting for your holiday. Old oak beams and honey stone walls, stunning views and all mod cons - this is luxury holiday accommodation, South of France style:
- Quality beds from The Bed Company in Wales
- Egyptian cotton sheets
- Luxury en suite bathrooms
- Huge farmhouse kitchen
- Spacious salon with CD and DVD library
La Grange Galloise sleeps up to eleven people – seven as standard and four more if the sofabed, foldaway bed and cot are used. Each bedroom is named after a Welsh mountain.
Chill out on the leather sofas under the rugged oak beams of the salon, where you’ll find a well-stocked bookcase, card table and a wide range of CDs, videos and DVDs.
Beneath the oak beams of the farmhouse kitchen stands a massive oak table that would not look out of place at a mediaeval banquet. The kitchen is fully equipped, with fridge-freezer, cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Step outside from the kitchen onto the upper sun terrace...here you can enjoy the views down to the lower garden – where the private swimming pool is fringed by palm trees – to the Seye Valley beyond. A wonderful place to dine al fresco!
If you’re feeling energetic, have a game of boules or table-tennis...then stroll down to the lower garden to cool off in the pool.
Let’s face it, in the sweltering South of France, you really can’t afford to be without a swimming pool. Ours is 9 x 6 metres and has its own pool terrace with sunloungers. With children’s safety in mind, the pool is equipped with a splash alarm.
La Grange Galloise.....the perfect setting for a family holiday.

Description of area/town/village
|
On the edge of the historic bastide village of Verfeil sur Seye, nestling in the sleepy countryside of Tarn et Garonne, stands La Grange Galloise – the ideal location for your French holiday. All village amenities are just a short stroll away – yet this beautifully converted barn enjoys quiet seclusion, with panoramic views along the Seye valley.
Here, between the rivers Aveyron and Tarn and the Grésigne forest, lies the area known in South West France as Le Triangle d’Or – the golden triangle – a region characterised by its breathtaking scenery and stunning mediaeval architecture. Gorges, mountains and castles punctuate the spectacular French countryside.
For this is the real France - a France where mediaeval, honey-stone villages play host to sumptuous weekly markets and time seems to have stood still for centuries.
Your holiday here can be as quiet or as active as you like. In this wonderful, unspoilt countryside, there’s a wide variety of activities: from canoeing and caving to art and architecture, there really is something for everyone.
